This darling, almost a year old, shepherd mix was found by animal control with a collar that was so tight it was embedded in her skin. A kind hearted volunteer took her to the vets on our behalf. Dr. Stout needed to her collar that was deeply embedded around the entirety her neck. This collar cut in so deeply that it had to be surgically removed and staples placed all around her neck to close the wound. I can’t imagine the pain this girl was in for many months yet Inga has remained sweet tempered and loving.
