Dylan and Garfunkel came to us so badly matted we couldn’t even guess as to their gender or see where their feet and ears ended. We needed to take them to our vets to be sedated and shaved down to the skin. This procedure took so long they charged us $400 per dog for the shave down. When we picked them up we found we had 2 handsome male dogs that were terrified of the world.
We are still uncertain of breed, although they look like they could be either  PBGV or have Tibetan Terriers in their heritage. We mentioned they were scared of the world, which is why we have them. The shelter was ready to euthanize them because they were so scared and matted. It is such a tragedy that dogs can be abused and lose their life thru no fault of their own but due to the negligence of their owner. 
We have had Dylan and Garfunkel for 8 months ( since March 2018). They are very different dogs now. They jump for joy when you show them a leash. Both of them are great with other dogs. They have been recently groomed by a professional groomer. She reported they handled the grooming like champs. 
Dylan and Garfunkel are waiting patiently for new homes. Please consider one or both as your new canine companion.
