Canoe is a very silly name and he is a very silly dog. Canoe is long and low, our best guess is that he is a poodle Dandie Dinmont mix. He has a stunning deep copper curly coat with a white blaze. Canoe is a little shy at the moment as he was attacked in the shelter we rescued him form. He is recovering from several bite wounds. He happily greets us at the door knowing that we are cleaning and treating his wounds then he gets to go for a walk that he loves. Currently we feel his personality would be best suited to a quiet couple that need a couch buddy and someone to walk with. His long low body may better suit a home without stairs, not including the steps to the bed.
