This is Dottie.  We think that she is a young adult female (about 1 to 1.5 yr old) black German Shepherd / Lab mix.  If we had to guess, we would say that Dottie currently weighs about 65 lbs.  Dottie is a little sweet heart.  Her foster mom, Diane, stepped in and saved this pretty girl in her last moments at the shelter.  Lucky should be her name!  Dottie is social and friendly with people.  Diane states that Dottie has an incredibly sweet disposition, soft mouth, and what appears to be a beautiful temperament.  Her foster home is working with her to break the bad puppy habit of jumping up to say hello, but they have stated that she is a very smart girl and learns quickly and is showing great improvement in this area already.  It also sounds like she knows some basic commands as well.  They tested her with cats, and found that Dottie will not chase the cats if they don't run.  If they run, she will chase them, but in a playful manner.  If they stop, she stops.  It sounds to us like Dottie is still a big puppy at heart.
