Charles is pure beagle and an evacuee from Hurricane Rita. 7-9 years old and you really can teach old dogs new tricks. He came from a puppy mill; he was the grand sire and was confiscated along with all his descendants as a cruelty case. Charles was the only one who didn’t have heartworm. His stoic nature has guided him through years of cruelty and contempt. His issue had many health problems but he remained healthy and hopeful, looking forward to a new life.
