Fancy is a 2-3 year old, 40 pound mottled red Australian Cattle Dog with a docked tail. She is a very sweet and gentle dog who came into the Merced Shelter with an injured leg. The vet suspects she was hit by a car, and her fractured leg had gone untreated for about 3 weeks. Since the bone has started to heal incorrectly, Fancy will undergo corrective surgery to have it pinned. Despite her painful injury, Fancy always has a smile and a wonderful attitude.
