UPDATE: Larry went to Delta Dog Camp in Brentwood, where he spent several weeks learning to be the perfect canine companion. Larry has always been a favorite of our volunteers. What they like most is watching him jump straight up in the air, all 4 feet off the ground, to get the ball (see photo). He is not a barker, not a fighter, he is a lover suitable in any family situation, whatever “family” means to you. His coat is plush, his eyes are penetrating, his heart is open, he’s waiting for you.

Larry is an energetic shepherd mix.  He loves to play ball, beyond all other things.  He enjoys people who will throw the ball for him. Larry is working on his obedience and walks well on his gentle leader. Larry has energy to burn, so he’ll need lots of training and exercise.  He does well with his dog friends. He is just a bit to rambuntious for small children.
