Thank you for your interest in our exceptional dogs for adoption.

Prior to filling out an application, please review and print the attached Homecheck Information Sheet.  If your application is approved we will ask that you bring this form with you when you make an appointment to meet our lovely dogs.

For our canine companions safety, Big Dog Rescue requires our adopters and dogs go through basic obedience training. We want to know that our dogs have built a bond of trust with you, their new guardian, and in any emergency or dangerous situation the canine will respond to your commands (such as come, leave it, sit and stay).

We realize that many of you have been responsible for training your prior dogs. Having said that, training styles have changed. The new training method uses positive reinforcement; reward based training rather than fear based training.

Please fill out the adoption application below and submit to Big Dog Rescue. All fields are required if applicable. Once your application is reviewed, a staff member will contact you to make an appointment to visit the ranch and meet the dog(s) of interest. Thank You
